Goog Employees Arrested
https://news.crunchbase.com/news/wework-to-reportedly-lay-off-up-to-4000-employees/ Looking at layoffs recently across different companies is bubble down the road soon? Thoughts?
You are in the bubble. WeWork is not the harbinger of the pop, it's just a run of the mill fraud.
WeWork was a company purely to benefit Neuman. Wasnât even a tech company, just a giant cash generating cow only for Neuman
Yay capitalism
Yay public education not teaching people what capitalism is
Layoffs will soon come to a place near you soon
Why is Uber tagged?
Because of the recent layoffs at Uber
Uber never did serious performance management before recently. I doubt youâll see significant layoffs again soon.
Props to Mr. Neumann. $1.7 billion fraud...wow!
Donât understand the Neumann hate. Built a massive company. If SoftBank overvalued it and paid crazy valuation and public market doesnât buy at that valuation, founder shouldnât make any money at all is wrong argument. He has voting rights, equity, and gets money. SoftBank didnât have to buy him out.
He should probably write a book on the art of getting away with fraud

Individual WeWork locations don't have that many employees, do they? Just the front desk gatekeepers who handle the mail and wipe up after the slobs...
Wipe up the funhouse window maze smudges
I believe theyâve got some staff for growth/expansion/marketing per city
Wework be like "no money for severance but we have formaldehyde if you want"
Who the heck cares about their employees? Be like Neumann!
He is leading the nomination for the award âdipshit of 2019â i believe.
Sounds like Bezos' motto đż how many free bananas do you get per week?
We work bubble is up the road.
Layoffs are scary after all. Not good for the company or the employee. Ultimately mid and bottom level employee pay the price.
Layoffs are good for the stock holders
