Hi all! I just downloaded wealth simple trade and was hoping to get some insights on trading. For some reason the app is using USD.

Is this common or is this an error.
Also will USD be deducted from my account or CAD?

  • I haven't tried the mobile app so I'm not sure about the USD issue. For trades they withdraw CAD from your account but charge a 1.5% conversion fee on all USD stocks you buy.
