What kind of ads lead you to Wealthfront? Why did you choose it? What was the main qualities to choose it? What alternatives did you consider? What else are you using? TC:200
Interest rate on savings account. Nothing else about it makes it interesting relative to the competition. Thanks to the VCs pimping money into my account. I’ll bounce the second I see a better rate.
How does it compare to ally?
1.82 vs 1.7. They’re strategically 10 BP + ahead of the competition. Necessary for survival
Heard about it from Tim Ferriss’ podcast. Only using it for the rate. Nothing special vs the other apps out there (last I did the research was over 1 year ago).
Nothing has changed in a year.
Heard about it from Graham Stephan’s YouTube some months ago solely based on it having one of, it not, the highest interest rate.
Wealth front was a much better option than Questrade
What exactly was better?
Have you seen Questrade UI? They’re on some 1999 shit and it’s almost 2020. You have to fucking interac etransfer your money to fund the account. They don’t even have an integration with any banks lol. It’s garbage tech made by a bunch of townies in Canada
