I was bored and was looking at bankrates today. Apparently Citi now offers “Accelerate” account at 2.36+. * WF = 2.57% * Ally = 2.1% * Marcus = 2.15% The cons of Citi is the rate is not transparent (last known is from the news). But I am curious (1) has anyone signed up for Citi AA, (2) would you switch to WF? I see so many Ally customers here on Blind but I am currently a Marcus customer. Their service and website has been real good.
Not enough of a difference to make me go through the hassle.
Was too lazy to close my WF account from 2014. Now it’s finally useful to me.
Wealthfront keeps raising interest, your money is FDIC insured up to $1MM. I’ve parked some cash there, no issues and the app is great. I use Schwab as primary checking for Bill Pay and brokerage and Intelligent Portfolio for Rollover IRA.
FDIC doesn’t insure more than 250k
Take a look - https://www.wealthfront.com/cash
Been moving all my cash to wealthfront since 3 weeks ago. Can't move the decimals and don't have account number for direct deposit, but besides those it's all good.
What do you mean by decimal?
Ally customer service is 😿
WealthFront is best. I have a savings, IRA and non tax advantaged investment account with them.
Maybe i should move to WF for that sweet interest lol
SoFi it’s also a checking account

If it’s and FDIC insured account, it doesn’t matter what bank
That's a lot of trust you are placing in the government lol
