Man, living in Seattle is getting harder and harder. This depressing weather is shit! I am not sure how much more I can take, been here 5 years. Can’t afford living in SF due to stupid housing prices and anywhere else like LA and San Diego doesn’t pay well. How do you guys cope with this weather depression? I travel often to sun destinations but when I come back this weather hits me. I do go to gym often as well.
Leaving or living 😜
Same here. It was easy the first 5 years. I would even brag about it and give advice to people on blind. But after 6 years I'm just done!
Take vitamins and save up, so you can leave this depressing place.
Literally never understood this. It's better than any other climate near our latitude in the country. Would you rather be drudging through snow of Chicago, Boston, New York, etc? If you need a tropical life, move south. This isn't rocket science.
No sun. Low-hanging gray sky. Cold drizzle. Gray cars stuck in traffic. Black coats. Non-smiling faces. No night life, no culture. Hell 2.0.
New york is not depressing :) i have worked there for 7 years before moving to seattle. I will take nyc any day
There's more to your depression and the weather likely has little to do with it
Just f’ck the job and travel, maybe that will help you find the optimal place
Try moving to LA for Bay area possibly for lower pay or higher expenses but keep looking for better jobs. I am sure you will get it. Don't stretch this too far. Not good for health
Sad sad city😢😢😢😢
You rule our sf too quickly. The pay is significantly higher :)
Facebook Seattle and MLP has the same salary, that’s a known fact, not sure why you say so. Also living outside SF is horrible, SF itself is fun, outside SF is a long stretch of desert with outrageous house pricing
K. But for what it's worth I moved from Seattle to SF and your analysis does not match.
Leaving in Seattle?...
