I have a 30min screen for an Analytics Consultant 5 position. Is it worth leaving a high paying and easy Amex job for? Do you travel a lot in this position? Thanks Edit: tc 150k
That depends. Travel is in fact discouraged. Some never travel, while others frequently travel (for mysterious reasons). It depends on projects and where the majority of workers are located, and the division. Our central locations you would likely travel to are Des Moines, Minneapolis, Charlotte, Phoenix and San Fran. You are more likely to spend your time glued to your dual monitors in an abyss of never ending Skype meetings, whether in the office or at home.
do I know you?
Thanks. It is advertised in SLC. Would I be based there?
Amex are you already in SLC? Just curious. Also yeah don't leave a full time for a contract unless you need to leave the full time or are already gone. Not sure why WF hires so much contract stuff in SLC.
No. My wife is moving for her job in August in SLC. I applied to Goldman but I am more data science less swe, lot of Goldman jobs seemed SWE.
Well if you find something at GS SLC you'd be interested in PM me and I could refer. I do know people who have gone to WF from GS and have liked it, fwiw
The recruiter (Melissa Sand) never showed up and skipped. Well that was a fun experience.
She from WF? Way to publicly shame her.
Yes. She skipped the meeting then joined 30 minutes for another candidate.
If you don’t want to do any work and simply wanted to earn pay check then u join. Travel depends on org and team.
+1
