I’m an introvert. When it comes to socializing with strangers and talking about random things, I feel drained.
But when it comes to the thing I’m an expert on, I am pretty damn good at talking about it.
Also, we write a lot of memos for business things. So the talking mostly happens after a round of comments have poured in.
Imposter syndrome stays with you for life. I’ve been at Netflix for years now and still can’t believe they hired me. I do a stellar job at what I was hired for. But then I look at people in other teams and say to myself, “there’s no way I’m as good at my job as they are at theirs ”.
Pretty close. Maybe it is practiced a bit differently at different scenarios/teams. But overall no bullshit.
How does introvert or person with imposter syndrome survive or thrive in such fast pace culture.
