Google needs GCP for its long term future. Might be one of the safer parts of the company right now (AI teams being still safest).

If you're not growing you're dying. How much more room to grow is there in combined revenue across those three, especially if additional growth is needed just to cover an anticipated drop in ad revenue?

Just my opinion though - I've been wrong before and will be wrong again. TBH if I'd managed my own stonks better up to this point, I'd be paying someone else to shitpost on Blind for me.

But seriously I think Google has no choice but to keep investing in GCP.

Just to keep in mind though that the rest of google makes 280 billion while cloud makes 20.

Google is ramping up investment and hiring. In fact, it seems that people don’t even have to wait 6 months before starting to participate in Google Cloud hiring committees. There won’t be layoffs unless that number starts growing.
