Considering joining Stripe, really like the team and product etc. but was a bit unsure about their philosophy of being a payment infrastructure company only. I can totally see the reasoning in a short term but still unsure if this vision is true for long term. Square has Cash, Capital etc, those high margin applications built on top of their infra and making big $$, how could Stripe easily dismiss that opportunity?
Is Atlas not high value?
Did you join?
Curious whether you joined and whether you like it? I'm considering moving there from 📌
Why are you leaving Pinterest?
Hi, reporting back — ended up not joining Stripe due to a greater opportunity at another company. Still love Stripe though, I can’t reveal much but talking to the team I learned that some of their future products can be very interesting. Hope to have a chance to work with the great people there in the future!

Did you ask them during your interview? What’d they say
I did not want to appear arrogant in the interviews by showing that I had doubts for their business. I should probably ask this question in my post offer conversations...
