Two weeks of company shutdown, afaik. Also, not a benefit, but you get performance-based stock refreshers every quarter, so your compensation is open for growth. But their 401k, time off, and a couple of other benefits are below standard compared to big 5 or 6 or 7.
How much PTO do you get at Apple?
12 days for the first 3 yrs
Free multigrain bread roll and butter
Wow that alone is a reason to join. Assuming the butter is low-fat and no salt added
How much is hey Match 401k
I have a couple apple-owned MacBooks, iPhone, Apple watch, Apple TV, HomePod, AirPods, and a few iPads that I get to use as my own. These are always the latest and greatest versions of products. I think that’s pretty great
Compared to google, health insurance and 401k is better. Apple offers espp which alone covers more than free food. Apple also has 2 weeks shutdown.
Google’s 401k match is 9500 a year. U need to be at apple for a couple years to get the 4.5% or 6% match, plus have a high base, in order to get that match from apple. Google’s medical insurance is also free if you’re single. Apple’s health insurance is fairly expensive. And the ESPP profit is only ~1.5% of ur base. That doesn’t cover free food 😂 the daily free meals at G are worth at least a good 10k or even 15k a year.
Unless those means are $40-$60 each I think you may have overestimated the value.
Very high TC for certain niche fields, like ML/AI/Siri, AR, secret projects, etc.
Rest is all pretty much same as other companies. Google is better as free food is provided
Does it have espp? I worked at yahoo and marissa mayor stopped espp at yahoo citing its not there in google and other major companies
GOOG does not have ESPP
