I’m a zip code snob and is considering moving to a trendy neighborhood (on 120k salary). What are the trendy areas for girls in the following cities? - NYC - Miami - Chicago For example: I know The Loop is trendy in Chicago and Hell’s Kitchen in NYC
Sorry, you’re misinformed. Hell’s Kitchen is def not trendy.

Harlem
You can’t afford to be a ZIP code snob on $120k. Big cities eat that salary for breakfast and demand more by lunch. You’re up against lawyer couples and entrepreneurs. You’ll get crumbs, and you’ll have to eat them out on the front porch.
Chelsea
Don’t get me wrong, Hells Kitchen is a nice neighborhood. Trendy is just not how I would describe it. Here’s what most real New Yorkers love about New York - each neighborhood has a unique character that is wonderful in its own right. There’s something for everyone. The question is, what kind of vibe are you looking for? Artsy? Edgy? Preppy? Old school character? New shiny and modern?
Dumbo is really nice but expensive. I used to live there and everyone who visited loved it. Girls got their pretty parts wet when they realized I lived alone in my apt on 40th floor. If you really need to be in Manhattan, well, then you’re not all that trendy anyway. Hell’s Kitchen has some clubs but it’s a shit hole to live in. Construction everywhere. Chelsea near the Google office has some nice apartments and the area is nice too.
U didn’t watch gossip girls? Upper east side baby.
Are you over 60 and/or related to the Roosevelt's? Then no
The loop isn't trendy lmao. There's more going on than there used to be but it's a ghost town outside of work hours
Not sure what you mean by trendy. Williamsburg is what some yuppies consider trendy. It has a lot of restaurants, bars and boutiques and a few mysic venues. Young, creative types tend to be in Bushwick where there are more indie music venues and hip second hand clothing stores. West Village is probably good for celebrity sightings but expensive. There's a lot of development in Long Island City so it's becoming more popular for young professionals. Amazon is also moving there.
Though FYI the L train, which is the main subway line in and out of Williamsburg, is shutting down for construction in 2019, so many people are moving out.
LIC is the next big thing. Williamsburg is meatpacking 2.0 with shit transit.
Sorry. TC too low to be trendy.
4.85$ stock 😹📉
He’s not wrong though. 120k ain’t shit in NYC.
