You can find 2bed 2bath condos in Sunnyvale under 900k. The ones I saw are not in the best areas though (next to a freeway or some trashy neighborhood)
I am also looking in the same area with the same budget as you. I’m probably going to continue looking but won’t get anything for a while. Need to see what happens with prop 13 and all.

  Prop 13 won't change for at least 10 years. Probably 50-100 years before it's at risk of being charged for residential use
