IMIO this is completely wrong. More buyers than sellers make it go up. That’s just simple math. Figuring why more buyers are flooding in even at record high valuation is what you’re trying to do. That’s a “why” question not a “what” question
Share prices represent expected future cash flows. Increasing share price implies the company will generate more future cash flows than previously expected
