What do Amazon PIP packages look like?

I don't work for Amazon. PIP means your fired. You get what 30 days to do unrealistic goals? What does the layoff money look like? Do you still get the money if you decide to do the PIP? If so I would just see it as 30 days more pay and use my time at work to look for a job.
