What do twitter employees feel about Elon Musk's major acquisition and potential buyout of twitter??

Elon Musk seems to want to bring about radical change in twitter, and am quite curious to how the employees feel about this?

Very happy with the idea of it. Those snowflakes need to stop asking for additional "days/weeks/months of rest" and start doing some actual work

Elonโ€™s company donโ€™t have a good track record with layoffs and treatment of employees (pending racial discrimination lawsuit for one). Also coupled with the fact a lot of money is tied up with RSUs and no clear path of where thatโ€™ll go it causes stress for a lot of people. Regardless of what you think of Elon job uncertainty and TC reduction would stress anyone.

The only reasons Iโ€™ve seen people be happy about Elon possibly taking over is because it makes people they donโ€™t like uncomfortable and โ€œtriggeredโ€. Yet to see any sensible explanation how he will make Twitter better.

zero IQ you just outed hiring and HR strategy of all "mission driven" start ups and companies.

Not defending Elon, but to be fair to him, automotive, energy, and defense industries are male heavy and generally unkind to minorities. It's a societal reflection. Though blue collar workers and anyone who interfaces with factories and construction have it worse than those sitting in offices. Used to be in one of these industries.

How would you feel? With it comes job uncertainty. We are a public company and stock is a part of our comp-what happens to
Our unvested RSUs if the company is private.

His companies are notorious for layoff culture.

Everyone is watching getting a big kick out of this not thinking about those of us who are working here just sitting ducks with no certain future.
