I applied online for Netflix Android dev role. Haven't heard back Got a couple of offers from snap and Facebook. My priority was to move to Netflix but the recruiters never reached out and I don't have friends at Netflix for referral. FB offer: 165+360/4, E4 Snap offer: 200+800/4, L4 Goog: 340k/L4 current 6 yoe Giving up on Facebook due to low TC and snap for future prospects. Is Netflix the only remaining high paying job considering the reputation, learning opportunity and stability?
Not all companies would offer everything. Google doesn't have a high TC, growth is slow AF.
Maybe you actually don’t qualify as “Senior” yet, thus no response? (Indicators are your L4 offers instead of L5)
Snap l4=googlel5=fb e5
2/3 still not senior then, including your current employer. Besides Snap being on the “desperate” side to attract talent.
Depends on if you have 5+ years of Android developer experience I guess. Also, I would wait for Disney to launch and see how Netflix does in next couple of quarters before going there.
Have you done any oss or research with blog posts? How are you trying to stand out?
Snap offer will get you 500k per year when you count refreshers. Nflx won’t match that.
A good luck and 10+ working experience
Could you share Any tips or topics from your interview please
How did you prepare? Were the questions hard?
Mostly medium/easy
Really? Not a single hard? Interesting...
