What does the process & timeline of moving from US to Canada to get a Canadian PR and then back for a US GC look like?

So, I've got just one more chance left for my H1B lottery. If it doesn't get picked up, I'm going to have to leave the US.
I wanted to know what the process & then the overall timeline of moving to Canada, getting a Canadian PR and then applying for a GC directly or GC via TN visa looks like.
This is basically my contingency plan. I will be applying for Canadian PR. Based on my scores & my background, I feel like it might be accepted under the Skilled Worker express entry program. I don't mind slugging it out in Canada for a few years & then coming back to the US on a TN visa or GC.
Has anyone gone through this process? What does it look like? #workvisa #h1b #TN #Canada #GC

- Ask Amazon you send you to Vancouver office under on work permit. Normal procedure.
- apply for PR after you gain 1 year work experience there. CEC
- after getting a PR, wait for approximate 5 years to get citizenship. Timeline includes meeting requirements and application processing time.
- move to US on TN visa.
Other option would be to come back to US on L-1 after 1 year instead of applying for PR.
Look for employment based permanent residency options for Indians in Canada and the US, and try to get post-2020 articles. A lot has changed in the past 1-2 years, mainly due to processing delays and slowdowns.
Another point, you can't convert from TN to GC. Check Google, there are ton of articles.
What other option do I have?
Most people who applied in March-April 2020 are starting to get processed now.
Even for PNP, it's almost a year waiting, but yeah it's better. CEC is the only one which is moving in a reasonably tracked way from what I know.
Canada is basically not a reasonable "quick" backup like before now, unless your employer sends you there.
