https://www.techseries.dev/interview-episode1 saw this in a reddit ad, something told me it'd be as entertaining/cringy as the best of them
Tech Companies HATE this. We have the secret they DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW. Just ONE LITTLE TRICK. It sounds like those banner ads.
It’s strange to me that there is now an entire industry based around passing engineering interviews. Also that we all just accept it as normal when it is clearly showing us that something about the process is horribly flawed. I mean interviews should be difficult to ensure that a person could function in a given role and has the knowledge for it, but when so much emphasis is placed on simply passing a test then it seems like we have lost the plot.
It's SAT prep all over again.
Exactly. Like what are we proving by solving awkwardly tricky algorithm problems? It’s just a matter of recognizing the trick or having seen some version of the problem before and pretending that you are solving it on the spot. In an actual work environment you aren’t writing full functioning bug free code on a white board with someone staring at you, so why do it in an interview setting?
JOMA is a pristine example of dork!
The tech boom is like any other gold rush where people selling to the prospectors make the most money.

Holy shit, A GRAND!?
Better off buying 6 years worth of LC premium and spend the remaining $40 on a copy of Algorithms Design Manual imo.
