What information from college should you keep on your resume after your first job?

Would people still care what my GPA was in college or my extracurriculars for my next job?

If its a high gpa keep it, its just a nice statistic to wow people, no one cares about it. No one cares about it, though it has helped me to get interviews even when I didnt deserve it.

Keep any extracurriculars that are relevant to the industry you’re in

Just the school and degree name, and year of completion

GPA, major, minor, leadership / key extracurriculars that could connect with an interviewer (basically, you would know if you should keep it like D1 sports)

Unless you GPA is at around 3.8~4.0/4.0 I would say there is nothing you will need to keep on your reseme regarding your college information. If you went to top tier schools like Harvard, UPenn, etc then keeping your extra curricular activities related to finance would be good to fill up some blank space.

If your time at the first job was really short (as in 0-1 yr), listing GPA, extracurricular activities, internships, and so forth should be helpful. But if you put in decent time into your first job, GPA really becomes irrelevant, I'd think. Extracurricular activities demonstrating certain skillsets that are relevant for the new job should probably be acceptable.

I had a unique experience during my gap year in college which fits in well with my current job and industry. My hiring manager showed interest in it and asked question about it during the interview, so guess it doesnt hurt to have if you can make it interesting and relevant.

I would keep the GPA and maybe the most important classes you went to.
