What is better Office Mix or Home Mix at Spotify?
There’s an option to work from home and come in office occasionally or work from office and work from home occasionally. What is better in your experience? How many people are working in office atm ? London?
Depends, but I think home mix. You get to buy home office equipment etc but can go to office a few days a week if you want (you just don’t have an assigned desk?) not sure about commuting costs though, but I’ve heard home is a better “deal” though both offer flexibility.
if you go fully remote you can get better cost of living and fully commit to it
Home Mix you’re really only “allowed” in at average 1 day a week (though that is currently not being tracked). Office Mix you can work as much as you like either at home or in the office, so on paper the correct pick if you’re looking for flexibility long term
You won’t get as much equipment for if you choose office mix though
Offices are dead at the mo so can’t really paint an accurate picture.
