What is my TC
Seriously...If my base is 180k and bonus is 20% to 40% range, what is my TC (the way people over here calculate). Is it 180 + 20% ? Is any other component like medical, 401k match etc added?
Most companies : Base + avg or mid point bonus + equity Amazon : Base + Bonus + sign-on + Equity
Is gross income reported on w4 same as TC?
I donāt think so since it doesnāt have stocks you were granted but didnāt sell.

Closer to $300k in Seattle, maybe like $350k in the bay, considering 10% state tax and higher rents. Btw what's your role and YoE? That's a pretty solid TC for Atlanta
Probably more like 400K+ moving to the Bay. Atlanta and Dallas are comparable, and Iād have to at least double or 2.5x my TC (130K) to compare in the Bay.
Getting old :-( 18 yoe Feel like Atlanta don't have many opportunities for a tech centric career progression. Hence my question
