Given the recent ridiculously high offers and significantly toned down interviews, statistically doesn't it mean that there will be many people who can make that bottom 6% for PIP, which decreases the chance of your PIP (also expectations) if you are somewhat ok? Then maybe concerns about culture won't be valid anymore after the effects of this hiring kicks in? - Meaning OK to join now?
Also, did the expectation for existing employees change very much? Are they being compensated by promoting?
I see posts about watered down SDE 2 interviews. What is the interview bar like for SDE 3 ? Did that change too? Any recent experiences?
