What is the best company you’ve ever worked for?

And what is the reason you think it was the best? Could be money, wlb, mission, or anything else.

They pay “competitively” based on your location. Top payer? Absolutely not.

I've worked at 5 companies. Google is best by far. Career advancement is hard which is the part I don't like. Too many Ladder owners who don't know you who decides on your career. N

While not the best in compensation, I would most certainly say I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Microsoft. Learned a shit ton, made some good money (started out of college), and mostly did work when I wanted/where I wanted. 100% remote WFH, had a great manager and team. I left to go to AMZN for >2x comp. Will I regret it? Who knows, but Microsoft was a damn good ride.

Are 100% WFH positions at Microsoft usually advertised as such or did you request it during interview process?

Uber bludyhell Dec 28, 2019

Linkedin. Great benefits, excellent wlb, delicious and free food, 50 percent 401k match, great manager and team, great ceo. Great pay. A stock that actually performed well? Great moral code and ethics. Totally regret the decision to leave. Might boomerang it back.

Amazon FAANG2020 Jan 1, 2020

Sweet! How’s your experience been at uber in comparison?

I miss LinkedIn sometimes but holy mother of god the infrastructure (at least relating to ML) was fucked up.
