I have currently received an offer from Amazon. But my recuiter asked me my current salary which was way low. So I am not sure if my recruiter would have selected my salary toward the lower range band. Great if you could also let know the Bonus offered and stock options.
I would be relocating to Seattle office
120-140k TC
Does TC include RSU? Or is it just base pay and bonus
Is 120k TC the low of the band for someone who gets a title change within amazon? Say from BA to DE? Is there a max as to what percentage your manager can increase your base salary come April adjustments?
The recruiter can ask what your pay expectations are but it’s illegal in WA and other states for them to ask your current pay. @grenadine is spot on.
But now she did ask, and I don’t think I can do anything about it
If you have already answered then no, otherwise you can advise her that WA does not allow companies to ask current salary. You can also speak to her boss if needed. It’s a big issue at amazon.
Just don’t fret too much about it. If you plan on staying >2 years, every ones pay usually normalizes within the pay bands

Most prestigious filesystem?
Where are you located? I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to ask that question in WA state. In fact, in WA state you are allowed to ask them what the base pay range is for the job once they have extended an offer and they have to tell you.
