Bolt doesn’t pay all that well? Base seems reasonable I wonder if you know how much the options are worth

Options are worth about 60-70K after subtracting the strike price per year on the current valuation. But it's paper money, probably inflated and is meaningless until IPO. And even if it did count, it's not much in the current market.

So definitely looking to leave soon since I know people with barely more experience than me in the current market are pulling 500K+ TC these days so not going to settle for so little. Hell even 250K all real TC would be better than my current situation.

Bolt pays okay, nothing special these days. Definitely not top tier.

Getting interviews with tons of top tech companies and getting just as many rejections. It feels like I'll never go anywhere because I don't create perfect solutions in 30 minutes...it's been rough.

Yeah, I get that. It's just frustrating that I can actually do the job really well but none of that actually matters for an interview. It's just all about this leetcode mini game

Think of if this way. You control your own destiny in a way most people in other fields don't. LC is nothing compared to what other people in other fields have to deal with just to earn peanuts. Need to have gone to the right college, have the right certification and more often than not, know the right people.

Compared to that tech jobs are very merit based, anyone can get the top ones if you are willing to put in the work and continue at it until you get lucky.
