What is your ideal WFH city no further east than MST?

Simple question. Taking a position remote with no obligations other than staying in MST or PST time zones. What would be the ideal city to move to?

Edit fixed time zone typo.

EST is ideal for working from home. if your customer is PST and the daily standup call starts at 8:30am, that's 11:30am for you in NYC. you can stay up whole night researching or doing whatever, get up and have coffee at 11:15ish. but you have to work late until 8pm.

now do that the other way. it's horrible if you are not a morning person

If you are, though, the opposite is true. Assuming your coworkers leave work at a reasonable time, you're done at like 2:30-3pm.

Lake Tahoe area. Great outdoor stuff all year long, easy access to the Bay Area/Sacramento, relatively more affordable housing, trees.

Housing is also much cheaper on the east coast. But all my customers/teams are PST so not digging the working til 8 life.
