What luxury-ish car can I drive for 10 years?

Edit: should preface this to say my budget is around $35-$40k. I’m not looking for a Ferrari...Y’all on Blind are crazy bougie. Just looking for not-a-civic...

Looking to buy a luxury-ish car (probably CPO) that’s fun to drive (accelerates fast and has good handling) and looks good and I plan to drive it to the ground...I do this with everything I own, I buy a top of the line brand new or lightly used and I use it until the breaks.

What brand/model should I go with? I like BMWs but heard they are highly unreliable and don’t last 10 years.

Also, I want a coupe so small car. I don’t want it too big for parking in the city. I know it’s highly impractical for families but I just plan to keep the car and drive it to work by myself.

Edit: looking to spend ~$35k can possibly push it to $40k for used. Buying a new luxury car is a bad deal.

I’m not looking to retire early, I don’t want a house (too much space I gotta maintain and clean), and I want to treat myself. Also could die any day from some freak accident so as long as I can put food on the table and have emergency savings I don’t really care about saving half million...

  • I'll go with lexus RC 2015. Then drive it into the ground. Lexus have marginally less repair/maintenance cost versus Audi, BMW and Mercedes.

I just recently went through the buying a car shit and believe me this is the most reliable luxury brand

Yes it’s my first car and like I said I plan to drive it to the ground without major repairs. My parents have a 17 year old Camary with 200k miles on it and it’s still good. Biggest repair was a broken timing belt other than that just maintenance. I only want to drive to the grocery store, go hiking on weekends, and occasionally road trip. I don’t like commuting by car so probably won’t use to drive to work.

Indeed. The perfect luxury, sub 35k, and last 10 years car does not exist yet. Either you sacrifice the luxury to be a glorified Toyota or you pay more to get a Porsche that last you forever and actually enjoyable to drive.

Q60, I’ve found Infiniti to be in a sweet spot of dollar value. They finally refreshed the coupe after 10 years and it looks great imo. Luxury RWD sport coupe with plenty of HP.
