    Will most likely start off with an idea or change someone wants to bring. You’d have to create a metric and make sure it can capture the change. Then comes the A/B testing where they want you to design an experiment. Once that is done they throw scenarios to get an idea of your analytical reasoning.

    Here are some other ones that I came across quite often:

    - A drop or spike in a chart, what could be the root cause and how can you validate it
    - Questions around statistical significance or confidence intervals
    - Sometimes they sneak in bias in an A/B test that they want you to point out

      I was in midst of job search 6 months back. Interviewed at Redfin and a healthcare company for DS position. Had to answer questions based on those topics :(
      You probably know more monster :)
