Just curious how much you'd be willing to spend before you decided the company should pay for the upfront cost. Context: employer asked me to fly somewhere and stay a week, but the grand total if I bought flight and cheapest available hotel would still put me out 1.5 paychecks. Also reimbursement wouldn't come for at least a month.

What will it take Congress to boot out Rahul Gandhi?
None. I want all the reimbursements. My emergency fund is large enough to support myself for quite a few months. Cash back! Travel rewards! It’s the best. Only thing I might reject is if the company is a sketchy seed stage startup.
Yeah if you know they’re going to pay you back , this is the best option... free points :) good chance to open up a new credit card with a spend and get bonus , to maximize rewards !
