Co-founded bootstrapped tech startup. Built iOS and Android native Apps, most of the web backend stack. Now at 20 employees. My experience is very broad and have had my hands in a very wide variety of technologies and stacks - since I built the company/products from ground up. 14+ years of Eng experience. What role should/could I consider if I were to go back into a big tech corporation?
About same experience and history here. I landed engineering manager. If you went non fang you could do director or vp
Yea doesn’t have to be FANG. How did you go about looking for VP at “smaller” companies? Recruiter route again?
Some post publicly or on angel list. Most via recruiter or referral. There are some executive search firms you could try like Matchstar
Shouldn’t you be cashing out and heading back to Indian to live out your years?
Ha. Wish cashing out was as easy as pressing Sell on your brokerage account.
Oh well. You guys pay lots of taxes so happy to have you here.
Why go back and you have a successful startup?

Hypothetical. Exploring options. Think many will agree startup life takes its toll
