What should Apple do different
See a number of posts/folks criticise Apple/Tim for lack of innovation. If you were to advise Apple/Tim what would you propose
I feel supply is not the problem here
Lower the prices. Don’t take the customers for granted.
Lowering price will hit the profits, don’t see that helping in any way
Lowering the price might increase sales ? I personally switched to Samsung after seeing iphone x price.

Invest in the Mac ecosystem with the understanding that without good real computers the phone apps/content disappear, which will push people away from iOS and so hurt the cash cow. The MacBook line up is a joke. The new air has a crappy CPU. The MacBook is smaller than the air. The pros force you to have that awful touch bar (if you want a decent CPU) which not only costs more, but is less useful and less reliable. I had one fail which meant a new motherboard, which means a new SSD because it’s soldered in. Crazy.

1. Come up with new products, dont fear for failures, keep experimenting and releasing new products. Think about how Amazon has built a fire phone, alexa microwave,etc.. dont fear about failures 2. Go big on services. Cloud,, books, movies, etc... buy content. Understand why would any apple user buy any content outside of apple 3. Set expectations to investors that it is ok for device market to saturate. Like Microsoft did for OS. But show other revenue streams are growing. Sometimes its about the story. Profit margins are higher on services than hardware 3. Really 250B sitting there? Go buy companies. 4. IOT, voice assistant, cloud there are huge opportunities but apple is very very slow
Apple is also super sensitive about stock price. Halting trading is a signal. I would suggest not overly worry about price and think long term
I agree with Facebook ^. There’s so much potential with Apple’s massive cash and user base. Buy/produce content, buy car companies, make cars. As a long time shareholder, I’m really disappointed to see little to no progress on these.
Agree, looks like they try to keep squeezing from existing products and customer base.
Stop using Apple to preach his personal extremist political views. Stop censoring Apple “genius” employees from uttering the words “lag” or “bug”. Test software before releasing it. iOS 11 was a nightmare. Don’t release new phones that don’t have any new features. Cut prices on old models of hardware (Mac mini I’m looking at you) if no new models are released.
Tim cook is a putz and so is max99
Launch more dongles. Double dongles if possible.
