What should I expect in Denver?

If I’m moving from the bay, in my 20s, and Indian American? This is what I’m thinking will be different: Less diversity Lower pay Lower col Great access to the outdoors What am I missing? Has anyone here done this move?

You should expect your quality of life to go up. Denver is amazing.

Cold as fuck in winter, but not as bad as east coast winter though

Apple etubrute May 5, 2019

No where near as bad. That dry powder melts and evaporates quickly the next day with all the sunshine and low humidity. But it is a long and cold winter. Skiing is prime though.

Colorado has a very healthy lifestyle. If you are single, you can probably date some of the coolest chicks out there. Lots of 8 and 9s.

Definitely less diverse. Definitely lower pay. Definitely lower col (renting) but housing prices are high. And YES the outdoors activities available are amazing and plentifull. Sunlight every day.

Wow! That much sunlight?

Apple etubrute May 5, 2019

300 days of sunshine per year. It’s a high desert plateau. Gotta wear sunscreen, lip balm, drink lots of water and use lotion regularly. Even the altitude affects your ability to handle your booze.

Also there are plenty of young females

Weather is amazing year round. It does get cold but there is no humidity which is what makes the east coast and Midwest bitter cold. You will have 300+ days of sunshine. Very active and outdoor living with lower cost of living.

I just visited. It was very different than I thought. The altitude sickness really got to me. And it was SO DRY. Sand storms all around us. I liked it though and would visit again. Lots of nice people and so much to do
