Accenture you may be correct, but also the tech boom is not losing steam, it's broadening out, and the most motivated people are generally not leaving cities/growth hubs. I could really see it going either way.
Also keep in mind many Bay area people will now just buy their second or third homes elsewhere, somewhere less soulless
The multi-city hiring has been happening for a while now. As a NY metro person who went to the bay for a while I can tell you top tier tech was not in NY a decade ago but it here in strong fashion past 5-8 years.
A total of approximately 1,848,000 highly paid professionals making anywhere between ~$300K as a Senior Software Engineer to a few million dollars as a VP on an annual basis. You would need to add the millionaires the recent IPOs created as well! This is the competition! If you’re not making this much money, you’ll be outbid on every offer you make. I’m looking to move to Oregon or Texas and work remotely from there. Why would I pay +$1,000,000 for a mediocre home in the Bay Area if I can pay less than half of that for a nicer home elsewhere where the cost of living is even lower ..
All senior engineers make 300k+ according to Blind and there there are 2m "engineers" making 300k+ when the bay has 7.75m people. Common sense validation must be hard.
Do you also believe forest fires were causes by space-laser shooting jews? They were caused by a human error and exacerbated due to climate change, which is caused by fossil fuel and animal agriculture industries which the right so badly want to defend because they bribe them. Stop being ignorant and learn how these industries are wrecking havoc on the whole planet in the long run.

- Household TC of 2M/year
- No kids
If you're willing to take 4000ft² you can get a work of art instead of a McMansion on $180k.
Just don't vote left (including left Republicans).
