How long did it take you to write all those tags? 😮
I think its the pay + wlb that makes it tier 1 (high 2). As of product innovation, it sucks ass
Honestly LinkedIn should integrate calendly and some other tools
Wtf is 1 vs 1+ lol
Imagine being 40+ years old and caring about prestige. I went to an Ivy League and my first job out of college was at Google following 3 FAANG internships. You can spend your entire life chasing prestige but you will never be more prestigious than a US citizen who went to a top private school and has never worked outside FAANG. You lost as soon as you were born in India.
TC? 🤗
Yes
You do have a valid point about privilege and circumstances in life having an impact on prestige, but it still doesn’t materially take away from the fact that YOU went to an Ivy League and had all these accomplishments. At some point in your life you looked at Ivy League and decided to go there. At some point you chose to go to FAANG And then you chose Google. This means you care about prestige. I am trying to gauge what tech professionals consider prestige. The post is not aimed at a rat race or belittling others.
Another Indian/Chinese ‘prestige’ question. Op, this is one of the most asked questions. Just do a search.
Lol prestige :D such a cringe. I will work for any brand if they pay top, who d f cares for prestige. Bmw cost money not prestige
Why does it matter
I am trying to understand the general perception of companies by Blind.
So sad Linkedin is attracting this ☝️ mindset now.
