Almost went the consultant route. I'm pretty sure mba grads are brought on as consultants (title) not senior consultants.
250k is a bit high but within ballpark according to https://managementconsulted.com/consulting-salaries/consulting-salaries-for-2019-management-consulted/
I heard in tech consulting Accenture << InfoSys
I think those are contractors, not consultants But also, yes, Accenture is definitely bottom rung stuff.
Can someone explain what consulting is?
Consulting means “engaged in the business of giving expert advice to people working in a specific field.” In other words, a consultant is somebody who gives advice to a specific group of people. So what is consulting? Consulting is the business of providing expert advice to a specific group of people.
Ohh so, are the consultants this post is referring to, people who provide technical advice to a group of people?
T1 is MBB
I see. Do you know how much senior consultants make at Deloitte? Friend says she is clearing 250k with 0 yoe after MBA but I smell bullshit.
Starting post MBA at Deloitte is 150-160k with 10% bonus. 250k is Sr. Manager money. She is most likely exaggerating.
