What to do with my onsites?

I have aligned onsites with Google, Facebook and Amazon for SWE positions in NYC, however I feel like i haven’t prepared enough (LC: 3 hards, 20 mediums around 60 easy). My question is should I have those #onsites anyway or should I delay them for a later time this year? I’m currently employed but I have pretty decent safety net which would allow me to quit and doing two or three months of intense grinding to be in a better shape and try to ace those interviews. I’m concerned about failing now and then having to wait too much time to try again. PS: I keep waiting for that second layoff round but its not coming. YOE: 5 TC: 200k

Delay. Their cool down periods are long. Not worth waiting

I wish I could get on sites like you! Google and Facebook are my burner interviews. I really want to go somewhere non FAANG TL:DR interview anyway and see what happens

Depends on how far away are the interviews. If you have 2 weeks or so, LC more and go for it. Since you got the onsites, they recognized your potential. It's up to you now to prepare strategically.

Don’t delay , don’t ever leave job without next gig aligned. Don’t burn savings money. If you “see the patterns” , can code trees , data structures and sorting and know complexity of stuff - just go for it. Maybe delay one a bit more if you’re not entirely sure (not google - they take a shitload of time to finish the process...) I don’t understand the fascination with leetcode for 2-3 month out of work for this stuff. You either know the “tricks” and recognize the question type or you don’t. It’s not like you’ll remember the exact question and it will be presented to you with 0 differences on a whiteboard and you’ll remember everything. Rather build skill and get to interviews while fresh and not burnt out on leetcode and no job so you’ll be stressed in time and money. (Passed 2 faangs , got 4 offers out of 5 things I submitted - around 100lc and cracking the coding interview)

Better location and I like the product I work on better. Also other faang I encounter mainly unpleasant people.
