What to expect in offer from EY for Dallas? Base? Sign on? Bonus? etc ? Also during offer negotiation process is level negotiable - can I push for Manager level if senior is being offered. How?
BD goals at EY are achievable because you can team up. As a manager the only challenge you have is to build a network inside fast enough so you can help with proposals and pitches, and get the BD credit that way. What levels were your interviewers? Is it for FSO? When the recruiter gives you feedback, find out which partner liked you the most.

140-160. Range is senior consultant or manager. Mgr has more incentive comp. I don't think you can push for mgr if they offer Sr consultant these guys can be rigid
Most of the levels at the major consultancy firms are set based on your interview performance. Its not like in software, often they will have already documented recommendations from several participants in the loop what they think the rate is. As a multi-level tree manager in a consulting firm, I did experience a few candidates where this was something we could negotiate. The most opportunity to negotiate that is when there is a split in feedback, but the candidate is doing that blind, they don’t know two people recommended manager and two senior consultant. Which side of the split is the hiring manager on? You don’t know, but thats a factor too. The level I posed the role at came into play too. If my intent in the post was an analyst role and you are an impressive candidate, i could really only do above band hiring if my budget elsewhere could absorb it. Bottom line is, if you really feel a level mismatch you can ask but generally it’s difficult. And if you are successful, expect greater day 1 expectations - as an example a manager will have bd expectations and people mentoring a sr may not as much.
