I’m planning on studying for the next year and a half to get into FANG, but Google is my focus. I have experience in Python and SQL, but I want to go into either web or application development. Would appreciate suggestions on projects to build and ways to stand out so that I can really earn that referral.
Earn a referral? That's just whocyou know.
Yeah that’s true. My problem is not knowing anyone working there and also not wanting to try to artificially “meet” people just to get a ref. Any way to organically meet someone and not come off like you just want something from them? Haha or I guess just make a post and ask.
How many yoe? Open source can look good too
