Same. Motive is to seek motivation for hard times. Sharing mine: I once switched job to a startup for making more $$. Came all alone to a new city. But to my horror it was extremely toxic place. Colleagues used to be scared of getting yelled from boss. It was a small company. 6-7 people. And the CEO was a schumbag. Was on the verge of depression. I lived alone in a PG, with no friends in the city and just fresh out of college. I being a newbie, thought this is how things work in private sector. I resigned from my job with no offers. Then I started to prepare for roles in government agencies. Prepared hard for 2 months, and then waited a month for result. And finally, I got rejected there too. Completely shattered. Had no financial back up. Started thinking that I am such a big loser. Skip 1 month. I interviewed with Amazon and Goldman sachs, and as they say, the tables turned around. Got both the offers. And joined amazon. Moral: We all feel like a looser when in a bad time. The lesson is to not take those times seriously. What was your moment? flaunt it.

Each time I’ve had to decide to shutdown or exit one of my startups.
Leaving my first job where I was comfortable and generally happy to pursue higher impact.
Since I’ve seen this thrice today - Loose == not tight. Ex: “ah shit, I’m a size 32 but I got a size 38 jeans. This is too loose for me” Lose == be deprived of / unable to find Ex: I always get nervous during dates, I’m such a loser. Losing my car keys made me realise the need for a duplicate. /end
