The following are examples but really, what are the tools used for everyday work at Apple? Office suite - MS office? Chat - slack? Wiki - confluence? Task tracking - Jira? File sharing - Google docs? directory services - active directory? Email - Gmail? Intranet collaboration - SharePoint? Cloud identity management - okta? 2 factor Auth - duo? VPN - Cisco? Any other core apps/ tools...?
lol it's true, no joke they really did say this during the new hire orientation. supposedly someone took a photo of their lunch and posted it on Instagram or something and they fired him
What the hell? Why so secretive?
To address why Apple is so secretive, it's their business in a nut shell. The biggest reason people invest in their products is for protection. Say what you will about "well Macs can be hacked, too". Sure, but not nearly as frequently as PC's. I'm not a fan of Apple products, but you have to call a spade a spade. They protect your data better than anybody else.
Never file share on google drive. Learn to use FTP
Very interesting. But can someone still share? Don't use your prototype devices to type the answer or maybe you're a recent ex employee and don't care
Don’t want to mess with the big A. Just learn everything when you join. Everything is simple and straightforward.
If someone shares what they had for lunch from Apple cafe they can get fired and you want to know the internal tools?
That bad? I had no idea.
Yep that bad! Welcome to Apple.
