What would StubHub spinoff mean for its employees?
How would this affect their compensation, benefits, job security, other areas? For example, StubHub employees' benefits are through eBay.

He must have been a good bargain / easy to poach since engineers are all looking and insultingly underpaid

They create their own benefits plan. Probably similar to ebay, maybe slightly worse due to the smaller size of stubhub. Job security might shrink due to size. During transition they need more people. So job security might be there for a year or so.
