$500, $600? Tesla seems expensive at these prices even when valuing it like a tech stock https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/08/why-tesla-stock-seems-expensive-even-compared-to-other-tech-stocks.html?__source=iosappshare%7Ccom.apple.UIKit.activity.CopyToPasteboard
I still think it's a short term buy in a general market crash (hard to say how low it could go), long term sell. The battery tech is waiting to get leapfrogged, and purely camera/radar self driving is never happening.
Battery tech changes are a risk, though they are doing their own research as well. I'm confident they are right on the cameras - we don't use lidar to drive and the car already has a massive advantage with 8 cameras and no distractions. I have no idea how much longer it will take, but no one else is doing anything even close to what Tesla is doing with autonomous driving at scale. Waymo is interesting but it's a niche experiment - no one can buy one and they have no plans to sell them.
Well one problem with cameras is everyone else also has cameras...every big tech research org has worked on object detection with cameras. There's only so much training data you need to know there's a car in front of you. I think autopilot is a short term advantage that goes away when one of the other autonomous car companies decides to sell what they have.
If I could tell you that I'd be retired.
are you retired?
tsla is bullish on monday. watch for 850$
Tesla can go to 1 tn in next decade..if u care for long term a good entry point is now
40$. Anything higher is abomination
🌲50 ...kidding... It's speculation by the fan club - not based on any fundamentals.
I would pick it up in the 300 to 350 range. There will be some inertia for the next growth spur. As a company, they are in the right markets equipped with the best technology.
what event(s) will drive the correction(s)?
Let me tell you something..nobody knows...Wall Street analysts thought Tesla was overpriced at 250$..and as you can see they were wrong..any event could drive corrections in both directions..that’s true for any stock. If you believe in Tesla for the long term just invest for the long term..professionals have lost billions trying to time the market and you don’t want to do that
420 (to be generous)

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
Under $400, but whatever event actually takes the price down that far may be cause to reevaluate.
could just be recovery, not enough buyers
