I had this class mate in bachelors degree who would ALWAYS leave the exam hall before anyone else atleast 30 mins ahead of the schedule, but always topped the class! In fact, he graduated with 5th rank for the university. I could witness it everytime because we both shared same exam hall because we shared same name! He worked at Google for a while before becoming a professor.
Autism is the special talent of most of my coworkers
Making insensitive remarks about a health disorder is yours. Huh?
How is that insensitive?
Thorough work from an engineer I manage while he may be going through so much in life and work place. To give a perspective, it may take 3 engineers full-time to get closer to his level of thorough, lean coding with meticulous documentation (Which is not a fav item for many engineers) and consulting with project team to exactly deliver the scope and at the end of project closing , keeping cool as what he delivered is simple and no brainer.
It’s nice you recognized his talent, good job!
Well I went to an IIT and I finished almost (except 1 or 2) in 60% of the time. There were hardcore proof based math papers and I finished them in 40% of the time. I just think very fast but the smartest guy in my batch was someone who could think really deep and thats when I realised in research deep beats speed every day.
So why did you end up at oracle if you were that smart / had intellectual horsepower? Not shaming just intrigued
Tldr leaving in the next couple of months. They gave me an H1B straight out of an undergrad from India
Cool, where you going to then?
That guy which always did a shitty halfassed projects and arrived stoned and last on team works... he has his startup now. I guess it takes some special self confidence to do it
Can't stand that guy
We were awestruck every semester!
