What's it like working at NASDAQ?

I just wanted to know what it is like working there? Applying for a data analyst role. What kind of stack do they use. What is comp like (I'm currently making 84k in the delware area). This job would be closer and in Philadelphia, so I'm considering it. Thoughts?

Overall compensation is good and a very competitive environment. Even though it's a big company, it has very much a start up mentality. As long as you don't mind not getting a lot of direction and taking on various projects with not a lot of management overview, you will like it. Nasdaq is very much focused on investing in new technologies right now and focusing on being a true fintech company so it's an exciting time.

Good to hear going to take a shot at applying to the one in Philadelphia then. Thank you for making the decision easier

I think the office in Philly is brand new and looks pretty nice. Nasdaqs new CEO, Adena is awesome as well. Best of luck!

Yep going to reach out to a recuriter I had contact with a while back later tonight to see if I can get some traction. I use to work at Bloomberg and currently at Chase , hope they match comp in Philly.

How did this play out? I've been at nasdaq for years and could unearth info if necessary. I do know that office recently relocated into a nicer pad and that people enjoy working in that office and on their given projects. Generally speaking I'd say it all depends on your division and if the work interests you.

I did not hear back from the recuriter sadly. If anyone does not mind sending over a referral I would love that for the Philadelphia office.
