What are people’s perception of SAP as a company, career opportunity etc. ? Qualtrics was acquired by SAP and honestly trying to make heads or tails of some of that.
Lol
Garbage
Worked there for 7.5 years and had 8 managers....would only go back to work for 2 of them. Lots of politics but I guess thats any big company. Oh and if you want to explore any other roles, many times your manager will get jealous and find a way to put you on a plan so you cant move.
About the manager botching your internal applications: been there. The struggle is real.
People told me it's where engineers come to die.
So far no real change to Qualtrics or the culture. They structure cloud companies in such a way that we maintain our own leadership and culture.
That will change within 12 months. Acceleration to integrate the acquisitions is happening faster each time.
☝️That’s BS. Since we rushed SFSF in, we’ve been keeping the acquisitions increasingly more separate. Concur is still very isolated from the core business for example.
That’s was because GDPR happened very fast
It's hard to tell from within Qualtrics. Personally I am waiting and watching. I will definitely jump ship if the SAP stuff gets annoying. At the moment no change at all in day to day for pretty much anyone. There is scoping going on for further SAP integrations but that shouldn't impact culture. Would be curious to hear from anyone that worked with Concur in the years after acquisition.
Can’t say I’m surprised but these replies are disheartening for the most part
