What's the best place to live in Minneapolis as a young professional?

Heard of areas like downtown, uptown, north east, dinkytown, etc. which area would be best to live in considering rents, restaurants, bars/parties, activities, etc?

Depends on what you like. I've lived downtown off of 9th. North loop off Washington. Seward by Luce's, and NE by some small side street near Broadway. If you're into breweries NE, Clubs North loop (close enough to hit up warehouse district and DT). Dinky if you're into the college scene. Uptown if you like the burb feel but want to be in the city. That's my opinion. Cheap rent go to the first ring burbs.

Come to California! You're young! Now's the time!

Didn't get a chance to interview there yet. It looks as if the bar is too high. I am in data science domain

Nahhhh... Just keep interviewing and something will stick. Silicon Valley and San Diego are the best!

If you are in tech, don't move to Minneapolis is your best bet.

I am in data science/stats area. Have to move for now to progress my career.

Uptown sucks

Avoid Dinkytown unless you’re in College. Try the North Loop or Uptown.
