What’s the difference between Slack and Slack EMM?

My new employer is using slack EMM instead of regular slack. What exactly is this? More tracking?

    It’s a version of the Slack mobile app that allows your admins to restrict certain settings (like copying text) and to ensure that you only access the Slack instances you’re supposed to access on your corporate device. The Slack help centre has all the details ;)

    It's hosted separately. Instead of the normal multi-tenant setup.

    Has some SAML and LDAP stuff too I think.

    I think there is also less privacy for the users. The owners of the system can get access to DMs and stuff if they try.
