Does it help for bschool? Do you make good money? I went to a top undergrad business school and it seems like everyone when to Morgan Stanley WM, but it seems kinda like a dead end career. Am I wrong about this? What are your thought?
Brand recognition and resume material. A big part of wealth management is about making connections and a large BB makes that a little easier
But where can you go from say Morgan Stanley wealth management?
I’ve always seen this as a two camp thing. People who create low cost index funds can create real value. Everyone else is just skimming off the top. Over the long term, nobody beats an index fund. It annoys me to no end that my company forces me to choose ETFs over index funds. Why? So I can make a “fund manager” and your company wealthier?
