What's the reputation of USC in Tech?
Different websites show different rankings. Wanted to know among FAANG peeps out there where does the reputation of USC lies, as USC boasts about it's strong networking foothold in the tech industry. There is absolutely no bar to get into Usc cs grad program. Anyone willing to pay can get in.
Maybe because there’s no bar for basically any CS grad program? Why would you get a Master’s in CS unless you are pivoting your career
This article does not take into account size of class. It is biased toward proximity (California) and large size university classes. The Ivy league universities it mentions that are not on the list are east coast and very selective as opposed to largest class sizes. How you set up your metrics matters.

At least I don't know anyone from USC when I interned at google in MTV. I never worked there full time, since I am from Europe, they placed me in Europe... so my experience is limited to interns / my team. People I knew in google MTV - 2 stanford, 1 cmu, 1 kansas state, 1 mit, 1 harvard, 1 university of washington, and like 50 university of waterloo so... move to canada if you want to get into faang in sillicon valley I guess.
