I recently had lunch with a bunch of MBA interns. Not a single one intends to return full-time. I didn't push them hard on why, but they mentioned culture, comp, and location. One woman deeply regretted turning down MBB consulting.
What would an MBA possibly do well at Amazon?
Role is very diluted..MBA's don't like that
What do you mean by diluted?
Focus is very narrow..like PM'S do a piece of some feature of a product while at other companies, they get to do the entire product line..and for Pgm , amzn roles are focused on one aspect of the process rather than giving a holistic scope
